What materials are used to make Wolfcreek drop visors?
All our drop visors are made from 3.2 mm (1/8 inch) thick 3003 aluminum. That is until we get the Forged Carbon ones in production.
What makes Wolfcreek drop visors different?
We make visors for vehicles that typically don’t have aftermarket options. Plus, no drilling required.
Do the visors come painted?
No, they come primered, ready for paint or wrap.
Can I wrap or paint the visor myself?
Yes, they are designed for customization.
How thick is the aluminum?
3.2 mm (1/8 inch) thick 3003 aluminum.
Are these drop visors compatible with all vehicles?
No, they are custom-made for specific vehicles. More models will be added over time.
Do you offer different sizes?
Right now, we offer an 11-inch visor for trucks and an 8-inch visor for cars. More sizes coming soon.
Installation & Fitment
Is drilling required for installation?
No, our visors mount using 3M VHB tape, meaning no holes and no rust.
How strong is the 3M VHB adhesive?
It provides 484 PSI of pull force, making it incredibly secure.
How do I prep the windshield before installation?
Use a razor blade to clean the surface, then wipe it with alcohol before applying the visor.
Can I remove the visor later?
Yes, it can be removed using a guitar string or razor blade without damaging the glass.
Will the visor hold up in extreme weather?
Yes, it handles all weather conditions. In extreme climates, reapplying VHB tape once a year is recommended.
Can I install the visor by myself?
Yes, but having a second person to assist with alignment is helpful.
Will the visor rattle at high speeds?
No, it’s made from rigid 3.2 mm aluminum and stays solid even at high speeds.
Can I transfer the visor to another vehicle?
Only if it's the same make and model.
Will the visor work with aftermarket windshields or tint?
Yes, since the visor mounts outside and tint is applied inside, there are no issues.
Can I install the visor on a vehicle that isn’t listed?
No, because the dimensions vary between vehicles.

Completely fine—designed for all weather conditions.

No more than any painted vehicle surface, as it uses automotive primer.

Automatic car washes should be avoided.

Yes, as it sits across the windshield.

Can I get a raw aluminum version?
Yes, but you’ll need to contact us before ordering. Default finish is primered.
Are the edges of the visor smooth?
Yes, all visors have smooth, chamfered edges.

Can I add extra adhesive for a stronger bond?
No, 3M VHB is already the strongest option available.
Can I install this in cold weather?
VHB adheres best in 50°F+ temperatures. If colder, warm up the visor and windshield before installation.
What happens if I don’t align the visor correctly during installation?
Take your time—once it’s stuck, it’s very strong. Use proper alignment before pressing it into place.
